When we look deeply, many "safety" laws are 100% destructive of the little guys, a bit of a nuisance for the larger companies but an absolute BOON for the lawyers. Is it that lawyers are better lobbyists? Or contributors? Or both? (than we, the people, that is...) Name one new law passed over the last year that can't be described as a boon for lawyers?
